About 6,000 NB Power customers are without power Wednesday evening, as of 11:20 p.m. AT. That's down from a high of almost 50,000 customers earlier Wednesday. The remaining outages are mostly in the Moncton area. The outage was caused by a tree falling on a transmission line, NB Power spokesperson Dominique Couture said in an email to CBC News.
