Influencer mocked for posing in business class: 'You definitely don't have a life like that'

An influencer has been caught in an embarrassing situation after she posted an Instagram in the business class section of a flight, only then to be spotted sitting in economy.

27-year-old Oceane El Himer posed in a green and purple tracksuit in business class on a flight from Dubai to Monaco — a photo not unusual for the influencer’s Instagram feed, which is full of countless shots of her on yachts and drinking champagne.

Despite not disclosing what specific airline she was on, a business class flight from Dubai to Monaco can be almost $3,000.

Unfortunately for El Himer — who is a reality TV star in France — she was recognized and subsequently photographed sitting in economy during the flight instead. In the photo, El Himer can be seen wearing the same green and purple tracksuit while looking at her phone.

El Himer has since turned off comments on the original post.

“I took several flights to arrive in the south, including one in eco class … I fully assume the fact of traveling in eco class, I’m not the type of girl who likes to show her money,” El Himer posted on Snapchat, according to Mirror. “Yes, I traveled in eco and in business. And so? Where is the problem, I do not understand?”

But El Himer might have the last laugh here. A couple of days after fans exposed her Instagram post, she posed with a glass of champagne in business class and captioned the photo, “This time I promise I paid.”

“You criticize and you comment, you definitely don’t have a life like that,” one fan wrote in support of El Himer.

“Alright, can you now return back to your economy seat,” another joked.

“I imagine Oceane at the Dubai Emirates site crying with laughter taking first class,” someone concluded.
