Injured driver charged in Highway 24 collision

A 25-year-old from Dundalk has been charged with careless driving following a collision that sent them to hospital with life-threatening injuries Monday morning.

The three-car crash occurred on Highway 24 south of Cambridge around 7:30 a.m.

A section of the busy highway was closed between Glen Morris Road East and Lockie Road until 6:15 p.m. Monday while police investigated.

The 25-year-old’s condition is stable, police said Tuesday. No additional injuries were reported.
