Jordan is charged with the attempted murder of Trent Butt. It's alleged that on June 8, Jordan stabbed Butt while the pair were in prison. Butt was not seriously injured in the incident.

Butt is charged with the murder of his 5-year-old daughter, Quinn. He's accused of killing the young girl and setting fire to his Carbonear home in April 2016.

On his way into court last week, Jordan yelled, "Put your hands in the air for baby Quinn."

Jordan was imprisoned as part of a six-month sentence for stabbing a man in St. John's in May.

Butt is slated to stand trial next year, while Jordan is expected back in court on June 30.
