Intense Winds Blast Through Saskatoon Area

A late-season winter storm blasted Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with winds of at least 85km/h (53 mph) on Monday, March 29, Environment Canada reported.

Snow and driving winds created whiteout conditions as the storm hit Saskatchewan. Winds reached speeds of 120 km/h (74.5 mph) in nearby Swift Current, Environment Canada said.
