Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza City, police patrol streets of Lod

Israeli airstrikes continued to hit Gaza City Friday as fighting between Israel and Palestinian militant groups intensified. In the Israeli city of Lod, police patrolled the streets and made arrests after synagogues were attacked and fighting broke out between Jews and Arabs.
