Ivanka Trump wishes the president and Jared Kushner a happy Father's Day

First daughter Ivanka Trump shared Father’s Day wishes for her husband, Jared Kushner, and her father, President Trump, on her Instagram account Sunday morning.

She posted an image from her father’s campaign, showing the president and Kushner seemingly about to hit a low five. She wished them both a happy Father’s Day and included a red heart emoji.

Happy #FathersDay to these two amazing dads ❤️

People in the comments weren’t so sure about the amazing part, in light of the current administration’s policies. A former Walmart in Brownsville Texas is housing immigrant children who’ve been separated from their parents, and there has been plenty of backlash about the conditions there.

One person wrote, “Heartless, disgusting hypocrites. Special place in hell for you ‘Christians.’ These families are humans trying to make a better life for their children.”

Another said, “Yet he tears apart families.”

“Amazing Father’s do not rip children away from their mothers and fathers. You are a disgrace,” wrote yet another.

Ivanka was slammed in the past for posting a “tone-deaf” photo on her social media pages of herself holding her younger son, Theodore, 2. “My <3! #SundayMorning,” she wrote in the caption.

Her brother Donald Trump Jr. also shared a Father’s Day post, captioning a fun photo with two of his kids, “Gonna be a great Father’s Day with these little monsters.”

In the snap, Don Jr. is holding daughter Chloe and son Spencer aloft in a beautiful swimming pool, and his post celebrates all the dads out there.

He may have steered clear of mentioning his father in a post to avoid the kind of comments Ivanka is receiving. A month ago Trump Jr. caught some heat after sharing a photo of him posing with two of his kids. The comments highlighted scary plight of the children whom immigration officials have separated from their families at the border.
