Jacob Elordi Debuts a New Beard and Look

They say that the beard is to the man what contour is to women — making the face sleek and sharp. This begs the question: did Jacob Elordi have these thoughts when he decided to grow out his facial hair?

As someone who does not suffer from an imperfect jawline, Elordi decided to show off his facial hair-growing skills by debuting a full beard and long, flowing hair at the Marrakech Film Festival on November 29. Toto, I don't think we're in Euphoria high school anymore. Not only does Elordi serve beard, but he also serves jury. Literally, he is part of the prestigious film festival's jury alongside director Luca Guadagnino, actor Andrew Garfield, Patricia Arquette, and more.

Elordi dazzled on the stage during the festival's opening ceremony, looking dapper in a Bottega Veneta tuxedo — sans tie — with wide-set lapels and a gold watch to take the look up a notch.

While being introduced as part of the film festival's jury, the production showed an older photo of a clean-faced Elordi — possibly in remembrance?

Elordi's beard came as a shock to many, but eagle-eyed fans would be keen to notice that the actor may have been soft-launching his full beard during the Bottega Veneta Spring 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week in September. Elordi, who is a Bottega stan (brand ambassador), sat front row on a stuffed bunny seat with a mustache and the beginnings of his now shaggy hairstyle. From the looks of it, Elordi just let it keep growing, bringing him into this new era.

The beard came as suddenly as the reactions did. Jacob Elordi fans were quick to make funny comments online about his new look:

Some were… not so pleased with the new look, but Elordi fans stood by their man. “many oomfs not f**ing with his beard means more for me bc i’m a REAL jacob elordi lover idc,” one user on X wrote.

While Elordi's beard and acting career are continuing forward into mainstream success (he did play Elvis, after all), that leaves people wondering how HBO's teen drama Euphoria fits into all of this? There is a rumored time jump in the anticipated third season, which means Elordi's beard might be fitting after all.
