Fight fans will be hoping it is a case of third time lucky when Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally meet this month.

The bout was initially scheduled for December 2021 only for Fury to pull out due to injury. A re-arranged date last year also proved a non-starter when Fury was refused entry into the United States.

As things stand, the much-anticipated fight is expected to go ahead without any snags.

When is the fight?

Paul and Fury are expected to fight on Sunday, February 26.

What time will it start in the UK?

The undercard is yet to be finalised but it is expected that the main event will begin around 10pm UK time. When Joshua fought Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia four years ago, the bell sounded at 9.20pm UK time. The duration of undercard fights has an influence.

Two fights already confirmed for the undercard are Ilunga Makabu vs Badou Jack and Ashton Sylve vs Maxwell Awuku.

Where is it?

The event will be held in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia which was the location for Anthony Joshua's second fight against Andy Ruiz Jr in December 2019.

How can I watch it in the UK?

Paul vs Fury will be broadcast exclusively on BT Sport Box Office, which Sky customers can find on channel 494 and use their remote control to purchase the fight.

Alternatively, viewers can watch on mobile or tablet using the BT Sport app.

Pricing for the event has yet to be finalised, but based on previous fights it is expected to be £19.95.

Who are both fighters and what is their record?

Tommy ‘TNT’ Fury is the half-brother of former world heavyweight champion Tyson. He is unbeaten in eight fights at cruiserweight with four of those wins coming via knockout.

American Jake Paul found fame as a social media personality and has since dabbled in popular music as well as mixed martial arts.

He has since turned his hand to professional boxing, with the nickname 'Problem Child', and has won all six of his fights. However, taking on Fury is likely to present a significant step up in class.

What has been said and what is the history of their feud?

The pair have a long history of trading petty insults on social media, most recently after Fury and partner Molly Mae Hague celebrated the birth of their first child on Instagram.

Paul commented: "Just in time to see your Dad knocked out," a remark which was condemned as tasteless before Fury vowed to ensure Paul would never box again.

Previously, Paul has called Fury a "Ken Barbie doll-looking mother------" to which Fury responded by donning a wig to mock his rival's curly blonde locks.

Fury does not believe becoming a father will prove a distraction, telling the BBC: “I've got my sole sight focused on Jake Paul. By the time I get in the ring I'll be an absolute specimen and I'll be able to dismantle this man very quickly and very early."

Why were previous fights cancelled?

The December 2021 date was postponed because Fury broke a rib during a training session in an incident he would later put down to "negligence".

Last year, with a fight scheduled to take place in the United States, Fury was stopped from boarding a flight at Heathrow Airport because his ESTA (which authorizes travel for short-term stays in the US) was denied.

Fury said he did not know why this was the case and stressed that he had done nothing wrong.

What are the odds?

  • Jake Paul 8/13

  • Tommy Fury 7/5

  • Draw 12/1
