Jason Kelce had to buy new clothes for his ESPN debut after forgetting his travel bag

Longtime Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is done playing football, but he's certainly not done being around football. And while Kelce is just beginning his new career with ESPN's Monday Night Countdown crew, his forgetful nature remains very much the same.

Ahead of Monday's game between the Jets and 49ers, Countdown host Scott Van Pelt introduced Kelce by listing the center's Hall of Fame accolades and then, of course, mentioning that Kelce had to buy himself a new shirt at the mall. It turned out that Kelce had left his travel bag in his truck, so he had to do some last-minute shopping in the Bay Area ahead of that ESPN debut.

Van Pelt said:

"And all that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck."

Jason did not bring a shirt for Jason.
