TV presenter and producer Jeannie Mai Jenkins is a Jane of all trades. She's hosted the mega-popular makeover show How Do I Look?, boogied down on Dancing with the Stars and served as a fashion correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. And she's currently co-host of The Real and a sideline reporter for the mini golf game show Holey Moley. That's not all Jenkins has going on these days — she's also pregnant with her first child!
All of this background gives her serious clout when it comes to recommendations about skincare, fashion and life in general. Here, she shares a few must-haves that transform her day-to-day activities from basic to brilliant.
The Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 8 Quart 2-Basket Air Fryer has plenty of space to cook up several dishes at once, thanks to two separate frying compartments that can be set to different temperatures. "You can cook your chicken wings and your fries and call it a day," explains the self-proclaimed "air fryer queen". Use the Smart Finish feature to have everything come out hot and ready right when you want it.
Jenkins says Yey Yey’s Chili & Garlic Hot Sauce is a winner. It's made with simple ingredients — oil, dried chili, vegetable stock, honey, onion and garlic — to add a serious kick to any dish. Jenkins keeps one in the kitchen and travels with another so she always has it available. "It’s so delicious," she says. "It is my favorite accoutrement to every single dish I make."
"The one thing I don’t play about is my skin," Jenkins says. She calls U Beauty The Super Hydrator her "favorite" moisturizer. "I've never seen anything that gives your face such a beautiful dewy glow and finish, that stays on all through the night and all through the day," she says. Formulated with long-chain hyaluronic acid, this moisturizer continues hydrating your skin for up to 48 hours.
These days, you'll find Jenkins wearing her own line — Jeannie Mai x I.N.C. Collection — from Macy's. "I put together the most beautiful ensemble of tweed sets and knit loungewear," she says. "Fun, fuzzy, warm, cozy, body hugging pieces that make you feel good about the way that you look."
Jenkins is six months pregnant and loves to listen to her baby's heartbeat. "One thing that I take with me everywhere is my baby Doppler," Jenkins says. "It becomes meditative to me to just listen to the sound of life." This Libery 3MHz Home Use Doppler Monitor uses a backlit LCD display for easy-to-see readouts. A built-in speaker with volume control and headphone port allows you to listen out loud or in private.
