Jeff Brazier has said the sons he shares with Jade Goody may soon be ready to watch programmes featuring their late mother.

The Big Brother star died in 2009 at the age of 27 after a battle with cervical cancer, leaving behind sons Bobby and Freddie, who are now 18 and 16-years-old respectively.

Brazier, 42, has said it has taken time for elder son Bobby to begin to open up about his grief.

“Freddie was always the one that was open to [talking]," he said. “Yet for Bobby, it was too much for him. But recently Bobby said he was ready to read my book The Grief Survivors’ Guide.

"I wrote it for the boys about four years ago. It’s a real relief to hear him say he’s ready to start talking about his loss.

“And now watching things with their mum in, is something we are probably going to start doing soon.”

Goody first appeared on the reality show in 2002, while she went on to appear in a series of her own reality shows.

She entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2007 where she - along with fellow contestants Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara - was accused of being racist toward Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty.

Brazier also has a background in reality TV as he found fame on Channel 4's Shipwrecked, however, he's described it as a "very difficult path" that he wouldn't want his sons to go down.
