Jeff Bridges' former co-stars Julianne Moore, Barbra Streisand send well-wishes after cancer announcement
Celebrities including Barbra Streisand and Julianne Moore, both former co-stars to Jeff Bridges, shared well-wishes with the actor following his announcement Monday he had been diagnosed with lymphoma.
Streisand, who starred opposite Bridges in the 1996 romantic dramedy "The Mirror Has Two Faces," wrote on Bridges' Instagram page Monday that she had just given an interview discussing how "brilliant" she thought the actor was in the film and "how much fun I had with you."
She added: "You have such a joyful spirit that I know you will overcome this temporary blip. Sending you lots of love and light."
"Oh no. Love u Jeff," commented Julianne Moore, who played opposite Bridges in the 1998 cult classic "The Big Lebowski."

Bridges, 70, shared on Monday that he was starting treatment for lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. It's unclear if Bridges has Hodgkin's lymphoma or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
"As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light," wrote Bridges, referencing "Lebowski." "Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good."
James Woods, who appeared alongside Bridges in the 1984 romantic thriller "Against All Odds" and 2007 animated comedy "Surf's Up," wrote on Twitter that the actor is "absolutely loved by every person who has ever crossed his path.
"In my heart I know he’ll beat this thing, Against All Odds," he added.
"Star Trek" actor George Takei called Bridges a "fighter." Amy Sedaris promised she would light a candle for him. Olivia Wilde, Rosie O'Donnell and Rosario Dawson all tweeted their love for Bridges.
"Sending you love, love, and more love," wrote Josh Gad.
"Jeff, sending you the wish, the hope, that you get everything you need and anything you want," Kathy Griffin posted.
"Jeff, my god, I love you," wrote Aaron Paul, who played Bridges' character's estranged son in the 2001 sci-fi drama "K-PAX."
"Sending you so much love and light my friend. Love to you and the family."
In a joined statement, Bridges' colleagues at FX, Touchstone Television, Hulu and FX Productions said, "Our thoughts go out to Jeff and his family during this challenging time."
"They have our love and support," the statement added. "We wish him a safe and full recovery. And, as Jeff always says, 'We are all in this together.' Jeff, we are all in this together with you."
