Jenna Bush Hager revealed that she almost got a tattoo following a "terrible breakup."

The mom of three, 41, revealed on the latest episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna while discussing the highs and lows of relationships that she once considered getting a tattoo of a popular Destiny’s Child song to signify ending a long-time on-again, off-again relationship.

“I ended up getting back together with the person about 47 times,” she said. “But my friend, Tracy, was like, ‘It’s enough already. Get up.’ And we went out and we danced and I almost got ‘Survivor’ tattooed on my back.”

When her co-host Hoda Kotb asked her to elaborate, Bush Hager responded, “The Destiny’s Child song was popular!”

“We actually went to the tattoo parlor on 6th Street and thank you Jesus, it was closed,” she continued. “Because could you imagine if I had “Survivor” tattooed?”

The TV personality went on to say that while she used to “push” herself to go out when she was “heartbroken,” she’s since learned to embrace her love of being a homebody.

“I want to just feel the way I actually feel, and if I feel crummy, then I want to stay at home and cuddle up on the couch in my pajamas… I think forcing yourself to put on something for other people is a waste of energy,” she explained.

However, Bush Hager has come a long way from those days of heartbreak, having recently celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary to husband Henry Hager with a sentimental tribute to him on Instagram in May.

"15 years with HH's hand in mine. I love him. A lot. ❤️❤️," Bush Hager captioned the post.

The TV host, who shares daughters Margaret "Mila" Laura, 10, Poppy Louise, 8, and son Henry "Hal" Harold, 4, with Hager revealed on Today that she once gave her husband an ultimatum to marry her a few years after they started dating.

"I had kind of — in a dramatic fashion that you may or may not recognize — said, 'Listen, if you don't want me to move to Latin America, we need to get engaged,'" she said, admitting, "It was kind of like a manipulative ultimatum," she explained.

Henry eventually proposed years later, and the two wed in a private 2008 ceremony at former President Bush's secluded 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas.
