Jenna Dewan embraces 'feeling sexy, feeling powerful, feeling free' in black underwear set

Jenna Dewan is glowing.

On Monday, the 41-year-old actress and dancer shared three photos of herself in a black underwear set that accentuated her body. She used the caption to explain the importance of self-love.

"Embrace feeling sexy, feeling powerful, feeling free. Our bodies deserve to be loved and celebrated," she wrote.

Celebrity friends and fans flooded the comments to not only praise how amazing she looks in the photos but also her positive message.

"SLIDE 2 is IT for meeeee," model Dexter Mayfield said.

"You are such a gorgeous human inside and out!" A fan added.

"You are indeed sexy, powerful, and free," a commenter wrote.

"Killing it and making me want to do the same thanks for the inspiration," a user shared.

The Step Up star regularly talks about the importance of self-love and self-care. In October, Dewan announced to her 7 million followers that she would be appearing on the cover of Australian Women's Health and in her cover photo, she showed off her toned abs.

In the magazine, she opened up about how she was able to turn inward on her self-care journey, calling it a "perspective shift."

"Those feelings that come when you lose a job or your relationship ends? Instead of focusing on why these things are happening to me, I started thinking these things might teach me something, [be] part of my path and journey. It means that in times of stress and turmoil, I attempted to realize my part in it and hopefully I would learn from it so that I could either make a different decision or change the course of things. It put me back in my power and it gives you the ability to handle hard things, because hard things happen," she explained.

"I’ve gone through a lot of things, like jobs not working out and divorce, and instead of feeling victimized, I try to think, 'OK, this is here for a reason. Let me go to therapy and work out what I'm learning from this.' It doesn't mean I don’t allow myself to feel sad, because I do. But I've got to a point where I understand that patterns repeat themselves. I like to get introspective about that. Meditating and feeling that flow a little bit really helps me."
