Jennifer Aniston Serves Casual Bride at the Emmys Red Carpet 2024

There are a few ways to do bridal-inspired looks on the red carpet, and Jennifer Aniston at the Emmys 2024 is doing what I like to call reception-dress bridal. It’s not the gown you walk down the aisle in, but it is what you change into for the reception so that you can dance comfortably while still giving bride.

The Friends alum, who was nominated for best lead actress in a drama series for The Morning Show, walked the carpet in a white, figure-skimming strapless number from Oscar de la Renta. The gown’s silhouette—a classic column shape—may have been simple, but the details were not. The dress was adorned from top to bottom in pearl and crystal beads arranged in an interlocking shell pattern. The shells were larger on the bodice of the dress, got smaller and more delicate on the skirt, and got big again near the gown’s hem.

Aniston went with the trendy no-necklace look for this ensemble, adding a diamond bracelet and rings, with her signature straight hairstyle.

Jennifer Aniston was technically nominated for two awards at the Emmys 2024 thanks to The Morning Show. She was nominated as a lead actor, but also as an executive producer, as The Morning Show was nominated for best drama series. This was Aniston’s second time being nominated for the Apple TV+ show, as she was nominated for best actor for The Morning Show once before, in 2020.

Surprisingly, though she’s been nominated for nearly a dozen Emmys over the course of her career, Aniston has only won television’s biggest honor once before—for playing Rachel Green on Friends back in 2002.
