Just like last year’s nude Versace gown, Jennifer Aniston favoured another slinky design for the 2017 Oscars.

The actress stunned in a custom black dress by the Italian label that broke the fashion rulebook by featuring both a low-cut neckline and a thigh-high slit.

Sheer in places, the gown also included subtle sequinned patches to give it that Hollywood edge.

Aniston attended the ceremony alongside husband Justin Theroux and delivered an emotional speech as part of the memorial tribute to those who have lost their lives in the industry over the past year. She was particularly tearful when talking about actor Bill Paxton who passed away on Saturday.

Although Jennifer has been known to shun her engagement ring, she was all too happy to show off her mega-expensive jewels. Lorraine Schwartz jewellery appeared on both her hands and ears with her 100 carat diamond earrings reportedly costing $9.5 million.

Her hair was kept poker straight to match the fitted style of her dress. And as usual, the actress stuck to a more natural beauty look with nude lips and just a lashing of mascara.
