Will Jessica Graf Return To ‘Big Brother’ Next Season?
“Big Brother” will reach a milestone next year as it celebrates its 20th season on CBS.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, host Julie Chen said that if there’s any all-star to return for Season 20, Jessica Graf would most likely be at the top of the list. “I mean, if we bring anyone back… she’s number one. She’s someone who has a lot of followers, a lot of people like her. She’s smart, she’s pretty, she knows how to play the game and, I feel like, she rattles people,” Chen said.
“You either love her or hate her, and that’s what you want. You don’t want anyone who comes in mild… You want someone that people have strong feelings about, and I think she’s the one to bring back,” she continued.
But even though Chen appreciated Jessica’s personality, the host did not necessarily like one of her game moves. During week five, Jessica revealed to the houseguests that she had the third Den of Temptation called the Halting Hex. In an attempt to keep herself and Cody Nickson safe, she told Paul Abrahamian what the Halting Hex could do.
With this, the returning vet encouraged Jessica to use the Halting Hex on herself and just let Cody go that week. However, she decided to use it on the both of them and was eliminated in week six.
“They should’ve just thought about it. I don’t even think they were trying to prove how much they love the other person, you know, to one another. I think they really were so blind in love that they were like, who cares? And again, ego. It’s always ego that causes someone’s downfall in this game,” Chen said.
At present, Jessica is back home in Los Angeles, and Cody is inside the jury house. He will be there with the other evicted houseguests for the next five weeks until a winner is crowned live on the show. After his recent eviction, Cody told Chen that he will be marrying Jessica.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he explained that he blacked out when asked that question. “I may have said the most honest answer in that moment,” he said.
“Big Brother” Season 19 airs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
