Joey McIntyre finally understands what it’s like to be a New Kids on the Block fan!

On Wednesday, the New Kids on the Block singer shared photos of himself dressed as a Minuteman from the Revolutionary War era, hanging out much farther south than his beloved Boston hometown. McIntyre was on a trip to Houston, where his team, the New England Patriots, will take on the Atlanta Falcons at Sunday’s Super Bowl.

“I now know what it feels like for #nkotb fans,” he captioned a photo with sportscaster Adam Schein. “When they get giddy and do stuff like put on fun outfits and travel the world to hang with us. That’s what made me wear this #minuteman costume. Cuz I’m a huge fan of @adam.schein and #scheinonsports!! More pix to come- down in #houston at #sb51 talking about #totalpackagetour and my new show on #PopTV.”

McIntyre also practiced cheering for his team and — one of the most important parts of the Super Bowl — talking smack: “@tombrady is already the #GOAT. If he gets #onemore, the conversation is over. #GoPats.”
