The Baltimore Ravens' bad injury luck just won't stop.

While the team worries about who will play running back to start the season, after last season in which multiple players went on injured reserve before the season, there's another concern. During halftime of the team's preseason finale, the Ravens' mascot Poe blew out a ... well, Ravens coach John Harbaugh had the injury report.

"Unfortunately, he sustained a serious injury to his drumstick," Harbaugh said.

Give Harbaugh credit: He kept a straight face through the "announcement."

"We will find a replacement," Harbaugh said. "We're going to go to work on that right away. We're going to turn over every stone, scour everywhere."

The rare mascot injury happened at halftime as mascots were playing against a youth team. Poe was tackled and didn't get up. He was looked at on the field by trainers and carted off, which, if you ignore that there was a person inside the costume who presumably did suffer a pretty serious knee injury, it led to a funny picture of a mascot on the back of an injury cart.

And, hey, everyone else seems to be making light of the injury.

So there you have it. The Ravens haven't played a regular-season snap and they're already down a mascot. Hopefully it's not an omen.
