Johnny Vaughan welcomes new baby

Johnny Vaughan has becomes a dad for the third time at the age of 54.

The TV and radio presenter – who has two children with ex-wife Antonia Davies – has welcomed a baby boy with new partner Vanessa Howard.

Vaughan announced the happy news on Instagram writing: “Welcome to the World Milton Vaughan. Too proud for words. Thanks to staff of Chelsea and Westminster for an immaculate delivery and @vanessah50 for being beautiful and awesome.

“Wow! Just a Wow.”

The former Big Breakfast presenter is already father to daughter Tabitha, 19, and son Rafferty, 16, from his previous relationship which ended in divorce after 28 years.

He began dating Howard in 2017 after being introduced through mutual friends.

Vaughan had previously admitted he was struggling to find love again after splitting from costume designer Davies, who he met as a teenager.

The Radio X DJ said: "I'm finding it very hard, to be honest. I've struggled. I've been on a few dates but I don't know what to say.

"I find myself telling lies to impress people. I told one I was training for a triathlon, which I'm absolutely not."

Vaughan rose to fame co-hosting The Big Breakfast with Denise van Outen in the 90s.

He went on to host a late night talk show on the BBC and was a successful co-host of the Capital FM breakfast show.

Van Outen, 46, was briefly reunited with him on Capital FM for six months in 2008 but left the show halfway through her contract.

She recently said of their working relationship "We were proper mates. I laughed every day, we used to laugh to the point where I was going to wet myself. Then things happened and we've had fallouts along the way.

"There's are couple of reasons why ... when the show [The Big Breakfast] became successful and we were negotiating contracts I thought we were doing it as a team but his agent had other ideas and she got him more money, and there were all those arguments that happens with bands and presenters. I wanted us to be a team and it became apparent we were not a team anymore and we never got back on track.

"I do love him to bits I'm not saying anything untoward about him! I don't know his kids and we don't really know anything about each other anymore."
