As the lockdown drags on, are you beginning to lose your mind with boredom? Are you finding yourself staring idly out of the windows at the occasional car or person drifting by?

Welcome back to The Telegraph’s weekly virtual Movie Club. Every Tuesday at 5pm, we’re re-watching a feel-good classic that’s widely available online, and blogging our thoughts, comments and reactions in real-time here.

We began with La La Land, then Monty Python’s Life of Brian, and last week Lisa Armstrong (our Head of Fashion) took the reins for Kind Hearts and Coronets.

Today, we’ve got the perfect film for everyone staring out at the streets. I’ll be watching Rear Window, the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock classic about a man trapped at home who thinks he spies a murder across the way. It’s available via Amazon Prime or YouTube.

Join in by leaving your (kosher and corona-free) comments below the line, and I’ll respond to as many of you as possible while we watch, to kick-start some friendly debate and discussion.

Sound fun? Then get your popcorn and drinks ready – go on, we’re in lockdown, pour a large one – and join us!

(And are you arriving late? Nothing to worry about. Scroll right down to the bottom, and start at the beginning.)
