Jonathan Scott Says 'Beautiful Human' Zooey Deschanel 'Brought Joy and Laughter Back Into My Life'
Actress Zooey Deschanel turned 40 this weekend, and her Property Brothers star boyfriend Jonathan Scott marked the occasion by recognizing her as a "beautiful human."
"Happy Birthday to the beautiful human who brought joy & laughter back into my life ❤️🎉!" the HGTV headliner wrote in an Instagram post to his nearly 2 million followers.
"I’m the luckiest girl 😘❤️" Zooey replied in the comments section.
The happy couple first met filming Carpool Karaoke back in August 2019, and Drew Scott recently confirmed that Zooey has indeed made his twin brother "happy" again.
When the brothers appeared on the fourth hour of the Today show to promote their new lifestyle magazine Reveal, co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager were quick to point out a familiar contributor: Zooey.
"What a way to start of 2020, with a whole new path in life," Drew said when prodded about the couple's relationship.

"See this smile?" Jonathan asked Hoda and Jenna. "I haven't seen him smile like this in a very long time, and I think it's amazing to see him so happy."
"People keep saying to me like, 'Jonathan, you feel so alive.' And I'm like, 'Was I a dud before? What happened?'" Drew responded. "But I will admit she brings out the best in me, and she makes me want to be the best version of myself."
"Gosh, well thank you for telling us that," Jenna said as the began to cry.
You're not crying alone, Jenna. We're all crying. Happy birthday, Zooey!
