Jordan Fisher Calls Son Riley His 'Best Little Friend' as Toddler Crashes His Interview: 'Most Amazing Thing'
Jordan Fisher and wife Ellie welcomed Riley in June 2022
Jordan Fisher can't get enough of dad life.
Appearing on Live! With Kelly and Mark on Friday, the To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You star, 29, greeted the audience, which included wife Ellie Fisher and their 18-month-old son Riley.
When co-host Mark Consuelos asked the actor how fatherhood has been, he replied, "It's the best, most amazing thing in the world. He's our best little friend, you know?"
"It's the most amazing thing — talk about purpose. I think that it'll be 20 years in January that I've been doing this, and it's so beautiful and I'm so grateful for it. But the way all of it shrinks when that happens," he said of acting versus fatherhood.
"Every fact of what was important has now just shifted," he continued. "It's just a whole new dimension of import and of purpose."

Fisher went on to share that Riley is into "trucks and cars, Tangled, Rapunzel, Finding Nemo — particularly Marlin and Bruce, the shark."
"Obviously Miss Rachel, and Bluey is our best friend," he continued as he realized his son was gesturing for him in the audience.
"You want to come on set?" he asked, then walked over to grab the toddler from his wife and kept him on his lap as he continued the interview.
Fisher also said the two are hoping to grow their family. When Ripa complimented the couple for making "beautiful babies," he said, "Thank you."
"Listen, we're gonna do it again," he laughed, looking at his wife who also sheepishly laughed in the audience.
Speaking with PEOPLE at the 2023 Global Citizen's Festival in New York City in September, the TV and Broadway actor shared that his little boy is "entranced by music."
"He has a concentration face. When I'm singing, he looks at me like this and goes..." Fisher said, mimicking his son's focused expression.
"Then when I'm done, he goes, 'Yay.' It's the sweetest," continued Fisher, who added that Riley "loves the piano."
Fisher said Riley even starts the day with music on his mind. "He wakes up and he sings my name in the morning. It's the cutest thing," he shared. "It's like, 'Daddy, daddy.' "
"He's my best friend. He's my best friend. We have inside jokes now. We have rapport," he concluded.
