Surprise! Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are married.

The couple exchanged vows on Friday, May 26, in a church ceremony. “We feel so happy and so excited,” the newlyweds told People in their wedding announcement. “Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here.’”

According to the mag, the emotional bride also shared that they will be enjoying their newfound marriage with plenty of adventures. “We are going to be traveling for our honeymoon for awhile,” Duggar, 19, said.

The pair’s relationship started with a 15-year friendship that transitioned in November 2016 into a traditional Duggar family courtship. In early March, the two announced their engagement.

“I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend!” the future bride announced at the time. “Austin made it so romantic; it’s amazing.”

Forsyth–a family friend–added, “I’m just overwhelmed with emotion. I’m so excited to be engaged, because that means the next step is marriage, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!”

It’s been an eventful year for the Duggar family after Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo last November. The couple’s courtship was also brief, lasting about four months.

The new season of Counting On, featuring the couple’s wedding, will air on TLC on June 12, 2017.
