A judge has ordered the Avalon East Hockey League to pay the Conception Bay CeeBee Stars and the H.J. Bartlett Mount Pearl Blades a sum of $10,000 each.

The teams had argued the league owed them money for the 2010-2011 season.

The league argued the teams left the league, and therefore were not in good standing.

Supreme court Judge David Orr disagreed — and sided with the teams.
