Judson Falls, accused in Tylor McInnis's death, released from jail
One of five people charged in connection with the death of a young man whose body was found in the trunk of a stolen car outside Dartmouth, N.S., has been released from jail.
Judson Falls, 34, is facing a charge of unlawful confinement related to the homicide of Tylor McInnis, 26. The Crown and defence announced Friday they had reached a deal to allow Falls to remain under house arrest in North Preston, N.S., while he awaits his next court appearance.
He must live with a surety who has agreed to post a bond of $20,000 to ensure Falls behaves while he's out of jail.
He's under orders not to have any weapons and to stay away from his four co-accused and four other people.
Other accused remain in custody
Three people are charged with first-degree murder in McInnis's death. They are 24-year-old Shawntez Downey, Daniel Downey, 18 and 25-year-old Nicco Smith.
A youth is charged with unlawful confinement and being an accessory to murder after the fact.
All four of Falls's co-accused remain in custody. And all five are charged with unlawful confinement of another man, Liam Thompson.
McInnis's body was found in the trunk of a stolen Honda Civic in a cemetery in North Preston in August.
It's believed McInnis and Thompson were in North Preston together when they were allegedly attacked.
