Hayley Erbert was hospitalized and underwent an "emergency craniectomy" after becoming “disoriented” while on the Symphony of Dance tour with husband Derek Hough
On Thursday, the Dancing with the Stars co-host, 35, posted on her Instagram Story resharing her brother’s message that Erbert, 29, was recovering from an "emergency craniectomy."
"Please pray and send all your love, healing and light to Hayley and Derek 🙏," Julianne wrote. "Thank you from the depths of our families hearts!❤️"
The post came shortly after Derek, 38, announced that his wife was being treated for a cranial hematoma — when blood collects in the skull — after experiencing symptoms while the couple is on their Symphony of Dance tour.
“At the end of last night’s tout performance in Washington, D.C., my wife Hayley became disoriented and was taken to the hospital,” he wrote. “She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy. She is in stable condition.”

Underneath the post, numerous stars and fans sent their well wishes to the couple and Erbert’s recovery.
Xochitl Gomez also commented, “Focusing all my positivity and well wishes directly toward Hayley. She is a shining light 🤍”
“Praying for you guys,” Kevin Jonas said.
Derek and Erbert got married on Aug. 26 before their Symphony of Dance tour kicked off on Sept. 28. There is no word yet on whether upcoming tour dates will be postponed following Erbert’s health scare.
