This ‘Jurassic World’ Animated Series Is Ranked #4 on Netflix (& It’s Actually Kinda Terrifying)
Netflix recently debuted an all-new original series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. While it’s been creeping up on the streaming service’s top ranked TV shows, we highly recommend learning more about the flick before introducing it to your children.
Here’s what you need to know: Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is an animated adventure series that just premiered on Netflix last month, and it currently holds the fourth spot on today’s list of most watched shows behind Ratched and The Good Place.
Jurassic World follows a group of six teenagers, who are offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit a new adventure park. The campers are forced to team up when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island, sending the group into an action-packed fight for survival.
The animated characters in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous might make it seem family-friendly, but it’s important to note that sensitive children might be triggered by some scenes. Not only are the dinosaurs oddly realistic, but they also bare their teeth on multiple occasions, which might be alarming for young viewers.
The good news is the language is extremely G-rated, with the most mature phrases ranging from “crud” to jokes about dino farts. (Hey, it could be worse.)
Jurassic World features a noteworthy voiceover cast, including Jameela Jamil (Roxie), Glen Powell (Dave), Jenna Ortega (Brooklynn), Ryan Potter (Kenji), Raini Rodriguez (Sammy), Paul-Mikél Williams (Darius), Sean Giambrone (Ben) and Kausar Mohammed (Yaz).
