Kamala Harris's Unexpected Comment On Guns Is Going Viral, And People Are Saying It Could Be The Key To Winning The Race

Vice President Kamala Harris recently held a virtual campaign interview called "Unite for America," hosted by Oprah Winfrey. The almost two-hour event discussed her positions on various topics, but one seemingly unscripted moment by the VP has set the internet on fire.

During a segment about gun violence prevention, Harris highlighted her position on common sense gun safety laws while also protecting the Second Amendment.

Now, here's where her answer seemingly went a bit off the rails. Oprah interjected, saying she was surprised that Kamala was a gun owner after learning about it at the presidential debate. "I'm a gun owner; Tim Walz is a gun owner," Harris confirmed.

"Her aides probably don’t like this, but as a gun owner with the right to defend her property, VP Kamala Harris is so real for this: 'if somebody breaks in my home, they’re getting shot.'"
