Kamala Harris' schedule this week includes livestream event with Oprah, Madison rally

With only 50 days remaining to the 2024 Presidential Elections and a the FBI investigating second assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump, the race for the White House intensifies.

new Marquette University Law School poll released last Wednesday showed Vice President Kamala Harris with a four-point lead over Trump. It also showed Harris leading for the first time among the most enthusiastic voters. Trump had earlier held that advantage when President Joe Biden was still in the race and during the early days of Harris' own campaign.

Kamala Harris' schedule from 9/16 - 9/22

Sept. 16: Washington D.C.

Harris participated in a rank-and-file roundtable with the Teamsters Monday, the union had announced earlier this month. Both Trump and President Joe Biden had attended similar meetings earlier in the campaign cycle.

The union is yet to endorse a candidate for the 2024 presidential race, according to a news release.

"We look forward to having a conversation on the direction of the country and the issues that matter to working people," the union's General President Sean O'Brien had said in a statement on Sept. 5.

Sept. 17: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Harris is scheduled to be interviewed by a panel of three National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) on Tuesday at WHYY Studios in Philadelphia.

The interview conducted by Gerren Keith Gaynor, Eugene Daniels and Tonya Mosley will have an "in-person audience of NABJ professional and student members and local HBCU journalism and communications students," as per a NABJ new release. It will also be livestreamed for all NABJ members and the general public at 2:30 p.m. ET on NABJ’s Facebook and YouTube channels and WHYY’s platforms.

Sept. 19: Michigan

Harris is scheduled to participate in a "Unite for America" livestream event with Oprah Winfrey in Michigan, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, reported.

Sept. 20: Madison, Wisconsin

Harris is scheduled to hold a rally early in the evening in Madison on Friday, as per the Journal Sentinel. Further details on her visit are not yet known.
