Kanye West's Plans for Wyoming Mansion Approved

Kanye West has a busy year ahead. While much of the media’s attention has been focused on his potential presidential bid, the rapper and entrepreneur is also moving forward with plans to develop his Wyoming ranch property, TMZ reports. According to the site, West’s proposal to construct a 10-bedroom megamansion on the $14 million, 3,000-acre estate was recently approved.

The fashion designer also submitted plans for two new lakeside cabins that would replace the current cabins on site, as well as for two cavernous underground garages that would measure 10,000 square feet each, both of which were approved by the county. Late last year, West made headlines when he attempted to build a massive amphitheater on the grounds. When the Park County Planning and Zoning Commission discovered that he had already broken ground before getting a building permit, they ordered West to stop construction and denied permits.

West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, purchased Monster Lake Ranch last September. Presently, it features a ranch-style main house, a horse barn, corrals, the aforementioned two lakeside cabins, a cattle ranch, and a bird barn that can host up to 1,500 birds. Two months later, the superstar couple dropped $14.495 million for a second ranch known as the Bighorn Mountain. This second property is an even more expansive 6,713 acres, and includes several different collections of cabins and lodges interspersed throughout the land. The landscape encompasses mountains, canyons, bluffs, creeks, and game-hunting grounds.
