With less than a month to go until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry say ‘I do’ in front of 600 guests packed into St George’s Chapel, we can’t help but wonder what roles the rest of the ‘Fab Four’ – Kate Middleton and Prince William – will undertake on the couple’s big day.

While it’s widely believed that Prince William will be chosen as Harry’s best man, the Duchess of Cambridge’s duties on the big day have been called into question given the fact she’s due to give birth to her third child any day now.

However, Vanity Fair reports that despite speculation that the 37-year-old might have been asked to be a bridesmaid, the Duchess has been relieved of her duties on the day.

‘Frankly Harry and Meghan are just happy that Kate will be there given she will only just have given birth,’ said a source. ‘They have told her there is no pressure on her to do anything, they just want her to enjoy the day.’

To be honest, we imagine the only thing Kate will want to do on the couple's big day is slip her feet into some flat pumps and have a nap halfway through the service.

While Kate might not have a major role to play on the wedding day, it’s thought that Prince George will serve as page boy while Princess Charlotte will likely be a flower girl at the wedding.

Kate Middleton is due to give birth to a child – rumoured to be a baby girl – any day now, with ‘no parking’ signs having been recently put up outside of the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London, where she’s expected to give birth.

There's so much excitment to come!
