Kate Middleton Burst Into Laughter While Figuring Out How to Inflate a Life Vest
A new day means there's new Kate Middleton content to obsess over. On Monday, September 18, the Princess of Wales paid a visit to the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton in England to meet with Navy members. Since King Charles III has taken the throne, Kate has been appointed as Commodore-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Arm. (The title once belonged to Prince Andrew before Queen Elizabeth II stripped him of all his military titles and honors.)
Of course, Kate pulled up to the airbase in style as she arrived in a helicopter while wearing a chic black suit, a white blouse, and pointed pumps to match.
After chatting with several Navy members, she was given a life vest during a presentation for survival equipment technicians. She basically got a similar safety demonstration to the one attendants give during flights—ya know, the one that's often ignored by iPad babies and passengers fighting over the window seat. You get the gist.
As she pulled the toggle and attempted to figure out how to inflate the survival gear, Kate burst into a fit of laughter. Thank God for the surrounding cameras, because the pictures were absolutely priceless:
Thankfully, she was able to remove the life vest with help from a nearby serviceman. Kate even chatted with some Navy members and, according to The New York Post, she's set to fly a simulated version of a Wildcat MK2 helicopter. Am I the only one hoping that goes smoothly after witnessing Kate vs. that life vest? 😅
