Kate Middleton Celebrated the End Of Her Chemo Treatments in a Wonderfully Carefree Dress

Kate Middleton, a.k.a. HRH Catherine, the Princess of Wales, just revealed the wonderful news that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment for an unspecified form of cancer. Along with the announcement, the princess posted a video of herself with her family enjoying a day in nature, and as always with the future queen, her outfit was worth a million words.
Princess Catherine has always stepped up to the plate sartorially, looking sharp and polished at every royal event. Knowing how many people would watch her video, she certainly would have put time and thought into how she would present herself, and chose a boho-chic white dress with a botanical pattern—specifically, the Castella floral-print ramie midi dress from trendy modern brand Veronica Beard. The item is sold out from most retailers, but as of this writing, a couple sizes are left for $807 on Net-A-Porter, and Lyst is showing size 12 in stock for $315, so happy hunting.
In the video, the princess also wears a blue dress tied at the waist. Both dresses look relaxed and comfortable, a far cry from the skirt suits and ballgowns Kate Middleton has to wear to most formal occasions. (See the video here.)

“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long.”
“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she wrote alongside the video. In as much as any dress can express that sentiment, this one does.
(Should we put on our tinfoil hats? I guess we have to. Meghan Markle also wears this brand. Markle and Middleton are married to brothers. The founders of Veronica Beard are married to brothers. With the dress, Kate is saying…she wants some of that jam. Okay, are the make-everything-about-the-drama people satisfied? Cool?)
