Kathryn Horne, 58, ID'd as Brampton homicide victim

Peel Regional Police have identified a woman found dead in a Brampton home early Sunday.

Officers located the body of 58-year-old Kathryn Horne in a home on Nanwood Drive, in the Main Street South and Clarence Street area, around 12:30 a.m.

Police say the victim's body had obvious signs of trauma.

On Sunday, police charged Richard Pereira, 36, with second-degree murder. Police told CBC News that investigators are unsure of the relationship between the victim and the suspect.
