Katie Price arrested after missing court appearance
Katie Price has been arrested after failing to attend an appearance in court, with the reality star being taken into custody before facing a judge.
Price, best known for her stints on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother, was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London on Thursday (August 8) after she failed to attend a court hearing related to her bankruptcies.
"A 46-year-old woman from Surrey was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 19:45hrs on Thursday August 8 for failing to appear at court," a statement from The Metropolitan Police said (via ITV). "She has been remanded in custody at a west London police station to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday August 9."

A warrant for Price's arrest was issued in July after she failed to attend court, the second such time this had occurred following a previous instance in April. She was first declared bankrupt in November 2019, with the newest hearings relating to a bankruptcy claim in March of this year.
Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Catherine Burton said that Price had received "very clear warnings" that she must attend a hearing on July 30, adding that the reality star had provided no explanation for her failure to appear.
"It is in my judgement necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price's arrest. She has no real excuse in failing to attend today's hearing," she said, adding that the court had heard that Price had flown to Turkey with her son, Harvey.

Price recently spoke about her relationship with Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater, sharing: "He's different to anyone. Some people might say he's quite vanilla for me, but I don't care.
"He's calm, kind, not on my case, he makes me laugh, I don't feel any agenda, no drama, he gets on with the kids, lets me go to work, doesn't drive me mad, and it's just easy. It's just calm and peace – and I need that."
