Katy Perry livestream interrupted by surprise appearance from Orlando Boom and dog

Katy Perry experienced an unexpected interruption while doing a livestream from her home in California, in the form of her famous fiancé.

In the lead-up to the release of her new album Smile at the end of August, Perry is conducting livestreamed chats for her KatyCats (as her most loyal fans are described) to enjoy.

During her most recent livestream, the singer’s dedicated followers were treated to a surprise appearance from her partner Orlando Bloom, with whom she is expecting a baby girl.

While speaking to the camera about the songs on the album, Perry suddenly looked up in shock as her dog started barking.

“Hi honey,” Perry said to Bloom, who was off-camera and had seemingly just entered the room. “I’m doing a livestream with lots of people. Are you going to come and show off?”

At this point, the Lord of the Rings star made his way to the front of the camera, greeting the viewers sans shirt while holding their dog, Nugget.

“Hello livestream,” he said, smiling at the camera as Perry laughed beside him.

As the singer showed her fiancé how people were taking part in the livestream from her phone, she said: “I’m so hungry honey,” to which Bloom replied: “What do you want, I’ll make you something.”

As he left, Bloom kissed Perry on the cheek, telling the livestream’s audience to “smile”, in reference to the name of his fiancée’s new record.

Once Bloom exited the room, Perry told her audience: “Well there you are, welcome to my life and my house. That’s what happens when you’re doing a livestream from your guest bedroom.”

The 35-year-old also informed her fans that Bloom “loves” the song “Daisies” from the album, which was released in May as the lead single from the record.

In July, Bloom confirmed that his beloved dog, Mighty, had died after the poodle went missing.

The actor explained that he had found the dog’s collar, revealing that he had “Mighty” tattooed on his chest in dedication to his late pet.

“After seven days of searching from sunrise to sunset and into the wee hours, today, the 7th day – the number of completion – we found his collar,” the 43-year-old wrote on Instagram.

“I feel so grateful to have learned from my little Mighty man that love is eternal and the true meaning of devotion.”
