Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Revealed They Are Having a Baby Girl With in This Fun, Messy Way
Katy Perry announced last month, via a new music video for her single "Never Worn White," that she is pregnant with her and Orlando Bloom's first child together. Since then, she celebrated International Women's Day while wearing this colorblock Mara Hoffman dress at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. She also posted this picture of herself eating pickles during coronavirus quarantine. Late on Friday, Perry shared a photo of her fiancé , Bloom, with pink frosting all over his face and the following caption: "💕 it’s a girl 💕."

Bloom and Perry have been together, off and on, since 2016. They got engaged last Valentine's Day, and ever since then, they appear to be going strong. Before their big announcement, the couple expressed an interest in starting a family. People reported at that time that the two were planning to have kids.
"Katy is slowing down her career this year," a source told the magazine. "[She and Bloom] want to get married and start a family sooner rather than later." Another source continued: "They both want kids together and will prioritize this."
As far as wedding plans, things seem pretty laid back right now. In an interview with Australian magazine Stellar, Perry said, after she and Bloom postponed their wedding, they were really relaxed with their wedding planning.
"I call myself a 'bridechilla' as opposed to a bridezilla," Perry said. "Orlando and I are united with our approach. It’s not about the party, it’s about the coming together of people who will hold us accountable when things get really hard. Because it’s really great and then it’s really hard. Those are just the facts when you’re with someone who challenges you to be your best self."
