It’s awards season and the stars are serving some new and exciting looks on the red carpet. Actor and Teen Vogue cover star Keke Palmer experimented with her usual glam style over Grammys weekend by playing around with her accessories. Adorned in jewelry and a silver septum nose ring, Palmer stunned at the annual Clive Davis pre-Grammys gala in Beverly Hills on February 3.

Her embellished septum ring perfectly complemented the rest of her outfit. Styled by costume designer Seth Chernoff, Palmer embraced a grunge-inspired look by layering patterned chokers with a bejeweled JUSTDESI cross necklace. From her face to her fingertips, Palmer was dripping in bling.

Her septum piercing suited her so well, you’d have thought it was always part of her look. Perhaps Palmer’s latest accessory is a sign that facial jewelry is making its much need comeback for the masses. Septum piercings are a staple in South Asian and Native American cultures and have been spotted on celebs like actor Florence Pugh and singer Willow Smith. While we're not sure if Palmer's septum ring is a real piercing or clip-on jewelry, it certainly is an exciting new look for the star.

The rest of Palmer’s Grammy weekend ensemble was an ethereal vintage dream. She wore a sheer lace lemon gown by Tony Ward that hugged every curve and fell into a dramatic mermaid tail. Her ‘fit was an elegant throwback to the bias-cut sheer dresses that reigned on ‘90s runways and red carpets.

The bright pop of color on the dress was matched with a new hue on the hair, too. According to an Instagram post by Palmer’s hair stylist, the inspiration behind her voluminous auburn curls included Whitney Houston and Rihanna.  Palmer even referenced Houston and Rihanna on X, captioning some images of her outfit with “a bad gal that wants to dance with somebody.”

As we’ve come to expect, Keke Palmer will always show up and show out!
