Kelly Osbourne didn't think she'd live to 35 in the midst of drug and alcohol addiction
Kelly Osbourne didn't expect to be alive today before she committed herself to sobriety three years ago.
The media personality has revealed the extent of her drink and drug taking and how outliving friends who also battled substance abuse has left her with "survivor's guilt".
Speaking on The Recovery podcast, Kelly shared: "I never thought I'd be alive at 35 years old. A lot of my friends didn't make it and burying them was hard. I had survivor's guilt for a long time. I'm almost three years sober."

The lifestyle took its toll on the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, who was living in a cycle of "hangovers and withdrawals".
"I never truly slept, I would pass out from whatever I drank or took and came to. I was in a haze of hangovers and withdrawals. I don't know how I did it for as long as I did. I embalmed my body," she went on.
The presenter decided to tackle her issues in 2017 as she made the first steps toward sobriety.
This year saw Kelly's brother Jack celebrate his 17th year of sobriety as he marked the occasion with a heartfelt social media post.
In a message to Instagram, Jack shared that when he entered into teetotal living he "surrendered" to the fact that drugs and alcohol "will only ever lead to bad things" for him.
"I went to meetings, worked steps, help newcomers and surrounded myself with strong sober people. The road map is simple but it doesn’t make it easy.

Earlier in the year, mother Sharon told of her "heartbreak" when Jack and Kelly followed their father into drug addiction.
Ozzy has very publicly battled addiction in the past, but has now been sober for several years.
