Pregnant Kelly Osbourne has said she doesn't think she'll "ever eat the same again" after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

The 37-year-old reality star is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with her partner, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.

She was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which according to the NHS is "high blood sugar (glucose) that develops during pregnancy and usually disappears after giving birth".

It led to her learning a lot about processed sugar, which she has cut from her diet.

Osbourne told Entertainment Tonight she was suffering from "terrible terrible, terrible heartburn", acid reflux and was gaining weight rapidly, and that she wondered what was happening.

After being diagnosed with gestational diabetes in her third trimester she questioned whether she had done something wrong, as she had thought she was eating healthily.

She said: "It turns out, I was not, but it was not anything I did.

"You either get it, or you don't, and I think it's more to do with me being 37 than any amount of sugar that I was eating.

"But now that I know what I know about sugar, I don't think I'll ever eat the same again."

Osbourne confirmed earlier this year that she was expecting, saying she was "ecstatic".

Sharing a sonogram image on Instagram, she told fans: "I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why…

"I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma.
