Kelly Ripa proves once again she really can do it all.

This week, the beloved Live with Kelly and Ryan morning show cohost announced that she will be releasing her first book ever next year with Dey Street Books, a HarperCollins Publishers imprint. The name of her book is Live Wire (which is available for pre-order now), and it's expected to be comprised of her personal essays, per the Associated Press.

By the sound of things, no topic is off limit. She'll be penning her thoughts on her marriage to Mark Consuelos, raising her three kids (Lola, Joaquin and Michael) and navigating her career as both an actress on All My Children and now, as a talk show cohost. Per a description of the book, the essays include "sharp, funny and honest collection of real-life stories from Kelly Ripa, showing the many dimensions and crackling wit of the beloved daytime talk show host."

"Whether recounting how she and Mark really met, the level of chauvinism she experienced on set, how Jersey Pride follows her wherever she goes, and many, many moments of utter mortification (whence she proves that you cannot, in fact, die of embarrassment) Kelly always tells it like it is. Ms. Ripa takes no prisoners," the publisher's description read. "Surprising, at times savage, a little shameless and always with humor, Live Wire shows Kelly as she really is offscreen — a very wise woman who has something to say."

What does this mean for Kelly's career on Live with Kelly and Ryan? Right now, fans can likely expect nothing to change, although it's possible she'll be promoting her book more on the show near the release date, which is April 19, 2022.

That said, Kelly did tell last October that she would eventually like to take on more projects behind the studio lights.

"I’ve been writing a lot, so my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much," she shared at the time.

What's keeping her on Live? It sounds like her good friend and fellow Live cohost Ryan Seacrest.

"I talk about this with Ryan all the time because I was really looking to retire like by now, but Ryan Seacrest is so fabulous to work with and he is such a good friend," she told the publication. "We’ve been friends for two decades, and I’ve got to tell you he is really such a draw to me there. I just love working with him so much. He makes every day feel like I’m not working and that’s when you know you have a great working relationship."
