Kevin Costner Shocks Fans With Major Family Announcement
2024 is off to a very sweet start for Yellowstone star Kevin Costner! After a memorable appearance at the Golden Globes, the actor celebrated his 69th birthday on January 18, and he followed up that milestone by welcoming a furry new family member.
Kevin took to Instagram to show off his new addition, which looks to be a perfectly adorable yellow Labrador retriever puppy. He didn't reveal a name or any other details, but he shared photos of his new pup on Instagram, and his fans and fellow celebrities went wild.
Kevin captioned the post, "Newest addition to the family. I’m already in love with this special guy."
In one photo, Kevin casually leans against his Ford F250 (complete with a surfboard on the roof rack!) while the young pup runs in the grass. Another photo shows the actor snuggling with his four-legged friend, and a third photo is a sweet picture of the dog by himself.
Yellowstone fans flooded him with congratulatory messes, and some of his famous friends left comments. Kevin's costar Hassie Harrison wrote, "Mr. Costner!!! That’s the cutest puppy ever!!! Congrats!!! I want to know what you name him! ✨." Sir Anthony Hopkins hopped in the comments section to say, "What a beautiful boy. 🐶💙" Even Randy Travis chimed in: "Great looking pup! Y’all have fun!"
Kevin, who settled his divorce from Christine Baumgartner in September, is the father to seven children, ranging in age from 13 to 39. But this new addition will certainly keep him on his toes!
