Kevin Durant responds to trash talk from Mark Cuban
Kevin Durant jumped to the defence of his Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook when Westbrook was asked to comment on the assertion from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban that he is not a superstar.
"He's an idiot," Durant said, without hesitation.
Cuban had told reporters prior to Game 5 on Monday night that he thinks Westbrook is "an all-star, but not a superstar."
Durant's response is hilarious and to the point. It's worth watching the clip twice, just for the purpose of studying Westbrook's body language on its own.
Cuban went on to say that he does consider Durant to be a superstar as well as Dallas' franchise player Dirk Nowitzki.
Whether or not you agree with Cuban, his remarks did nothing to stop his team from being bounced from the playoffs.
Oklahoma won 118-104 to close out the first-round series, with Westbrook pouring in 36 points to go along with 12 rebounds and nine assists.
