Kevin Federline wants more child support money from Britney Spears

Britney Spears may be heading back to the negotiating table with ex-husband Kevin Federline: Her legal team has received word that Federline wants to chat about receiving more money per month in child support.

Spears currently writes a $20,000 check to Federline each month, according to The Blast, which comes out to $240,000 a year. The money is intended to benefit their shared sons, Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11.

Spears and Federline were married from 2004 to 2007, and the child support deal was based on her income level at the time. When they split, Spears was battling mental health issues and was not actively moving her career forward, a source claims.

However, in recent years, Spears has staged a massive comeback, banking $475,000 for each show of her Las Vegas residency. That residency has reportedly added $15 million to her bank account. Federline feels he has been quite supportive during her roller coaster career.

Federline's cut is reportedly supposed to ensure that the children "live an equally opulent lifestyle with each parent." He remarried in 2013 and shares two children with his wife Victoria.

Spears, for her part, allegedly wants another baby, this time with boyfriend Sam Asghari -- so 2018 could be quite a year for the blended family!
