Khloé Kardashian Finally Revealed Her Son’s Name After 10 Months

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson kept their son's name under wraps since his August 2022 arrival, but the wait is finally over.

During the season-three premiere of The Kardashians, which aired on Hulu on May 25, we got her son's first official name drop. Drumroll, please! Sticking with the same T theme as his big sister, five-year-old True, Baby Boy Thompson's name is…Tatum!

The name isn't a total surprise. Earlier this month an alleged insider told The Sun that the baby's name is Tatum Robert, which turned out to be correct. Kardashian had a few reasons for why she kept her son's name private, but the wait wasn't supposed to be this long. “At first, he didn't have a name,” she said on an April 5 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show. “Then he's been named but I've been waiting for the premiere of our show and I didn't know it was going to be this far out.” She also shared that she needed time to “feel him out a little bit” before picking his name.

Though Kardashian carried her first child, the 38-year-old reality star opted to welcome Tatum via surrogacy. During the episode Kardashian got candid about her experience, admitting that her son's birth was “really hard” for her to process.

“I definitely buried my head in the sand during that pregnancy,” she said. “I didn’t digest what was happening, and so I think, when I went to the hospital, that was the first time that really registered. It has nothing to do with the baby. It’s just, you’re like, Okay, we’re having a baby, and this is my son and I’m taking him home with me. I definitely was in a state of shock I think from my entire experience in general.”

She continued, “I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and the difference of it. But it doesn’t mean it’s bad or—it’s still great! It’s just very different.”

As for her relationship with Thompson, Kardashian says they are never, ever getting back together. “I think he thinks, Let’s just ride this out, but no. No chances,” she said on The Kardashians. The choice is understandable given his several cheating scandals, but she is adamant that he is a great father, as seen in an Instagram tribute for Thompson's birthday posted on March 13.

With baby Tatum's name out there, Khloé Kardashian is ready to share more of her “little chunk” on the new season of The Kardashians
