Khloé Kardashian Just Surprised Fans With a New Bronde Hair Color

It's official, folks: Khloé Kardashian is no longer a blonde. Well, not the bright, nearly-platinum blonde that she's been for years, that is. The 35-year-old reality star is now wearing her hair decidedly darker in a bronde shade that's not too far off from the color her sister Kylie Jenner has been owning for the last few months.

Some will remember that Kardashian experimented with darker hues earlier this year — at her best friend Malika Haqq's baby shower, for instance. But it seems that now she's more fully committed to the look. In an Instagram selfie from Friday, May 22, the fashion designer showed off her bronde hair transformation with the simple caption, "location: under bitches skiiiinnnnn 💋."

While we can't say we have any clue what the caption means, what we can say is this: Koko's new hair color is the most natural-looking hue we've seen her go for in years. The look is basically light brown all over with subtly darker roots and soft blonde highlights woven throughout for dimension.

As for who's responsible for Kardashian's hair makeover, that would be her longtime colorist, Tracey Cunningham, who revealed in a post of her own how she achieved the look using Redken and Olaplex products. She also clarified that they colored her hair a while ago and that it's faded a bit since then.

No surprise here: The reality star's selfie has since racked up over four million likes and legions of comments from fans and fellow celebrities who are obsessed with her new hair. Mom Kris Jenner comments, "My GORGEOUS Girl!!!!!! WOW !!!😍😍😍," while Malika writes, "GO OFF 😍." Additionally, Khlo's friend and former hairstylist Jen Atkin chimes in with: "Omg this color 👏🏼 @traceycunningham1."

Now, who knows how long the middle Kardashian sister will keep this color around, but we're definitely hoping it stays for the summer.
