A new True Crime documentary about the late billionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein will air on 6 June.

Entitled Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein?, the programme, which will air on Quest Red and dplay in the US, will further explore the subject of Epstein’s crimes and death, which was covered in the popular Netflix documentary Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich last month.

Epstein was discovered dead in his New York jail cell on 10 August 2019, while he was awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.

The coroner ruled that his death was a suicide, but conspiracy theories quickly arose after the news broke.

Epstein had a long and well-documented history of socialising with some of the world’s most powerful people, including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein? will feature testimony from journalists and analysts who assert that Epstein’s death was correctly ruled a suicide.

These include Bill Mersey, Epstein’s former Inmate and Suicide Watch Counsellor at the time of his death, who says: “There’s no way somebody got in there and killed him. Do you know how many people you’d have to pay off to get in there and kill him? There’s just no way.”

Much of the discussion will focus on Epstein’s decision to alter his legal will just days before taking his own life. Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein? will also explore the conspiracy theories surrounding his death.
