Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's New Home Will Have a Skate Park and "Urine Garden"

From House Beautiful

Remember when we gave you a glimpse into the surprisingly minimalist home of Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West? It's modern, sophisticated, and spacious. It also has at least nine fridges, which you can see here. While the home was quite impressive, there was nothing loud about it—andI just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that after Kanye spits some of the most colorful lyrics ever, he goes home to look at plain white walls. Well, it seems like he can't either: West has recently revealed design plans for the 6,000-acre piece of land he purchased in Wyoming for $14 million in September 2019.

Kanye West stars on the April cover of WSJ. Magazine, where he speaks about the futuristic and energy-efficient property that he's been designing with architect Claudio Silvestrin and light artist James Turrell. While the blueprint is still being finalized, there are a few details already settled: For one, the compound's entrance will be called "the portal," according to West. The property will include a bevy of unique features like outdoor dome-shaped structures to capture energy and water, as well as a "urine garden." While we're, er, not particularly familiar with this type of garden, WSJ explains that it is an "aquaphonic-like system that converts human waste into plant food." So essentially, West will be keeping his plants from wilting with his pee. We have to admit, it is environmentally-friendly! West also mentions that a “hydrogen pulse detonation pump” will be used as shower technology. And on top of all this, there will be a skate park, which is somehow the most normal feature.

Well, we're super excited to see how West's vision for his new home pans out. Previously, the 42-year-old rapper has shared photos of himself and the family camping in Wyoming which makes us wonder if this experience inspired certain features of the new estate.
